I don’t spend a lot of time reading poetry. But it’s a pretty powerful way to communicate ideas.
For sale: baby shoes, never worn.
I thought about that poem when my wife forwarded the following to me:
How do you begin to quantify the value of a new life? Or the impact that the loss of that life has on the baby’s parents. These are the questions that juries are asked. Hopefully the issues will be framed as artfully by attorneys for the family as the author of the short poem.
