About Tianna

My family immigrated from Korea to Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1984. I wouldn’t be who I am today without my Korean-Hawaiian-American heritage. I’m proud of the blended culture I grew up with—one that values family, hard work, discipline, grit, innovation, and, of course, good food.

In 1998, I was lucky enough to land a job at Tam & Stanford, a small but prestigious law firm in Honolulu. While working full time, I attended night classes at the University of Hawaii and earned my paralegal degree in 2000.

My family and I moved to Washington State in 2003. I worked as a litigation paralegal at Gordon Thomas Honeywell in Tacoma before joining Myers & Company in 2006.

What I value most about my work is the opportunity to connect with people and help them through what can be one of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. Every client has a different story and I believe taking the time to listen and understand what they are going through is just as important as knowing the details of their case.

I enjoy being part of a team that clients can rely on when they have questions or simply need to understand what comes next. The legal process can feel overwhelming, especially when someone is also dealing with an injury and the changes it can bring to their work, family, and everyday life. Helping bring some clarity to the process, working together to solve problems, and seeing our clients through to a resolution are what have made this work meaningful to me for more than 27 years.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and our two dogs. Our two boys are grown, so these days we enjoy traveling, golfing, cooking and discovering good food, and exploring the Pacific Northwest—usually with our friends and our dogs along for the adventure.
